Bicycle Distribution
Life in a village is not as fast as it is in city. Most Indian villages have one primary school. Students
go to the nearest high school or colleges for their education. There are many villages in India which do not even
have basic amenities for transportation.Very few buses are available and most run at fixed timings making it
difficult for the students to depend on these mode of transportation.Students either walk or move on bicycles.
So, effective steps must be taken for the development of villages.
We at ANNA have taken a number of new initiatives to facilitate these students to help them in their education.
One of our initiative was to distribute bicycles to the kids who walk miles to reach the school everyday. The students were
selected based on their merits/grades and their financial background.
